Grove Park has a large bar and a members' lounge in which you can relax with a drink after a hard game or possibly watch one of the many different sporting events shown on the big screen TVs.

Our social secretary, Natalie Husdan, organises various social events throughout the year. They range from curry nights and pub crawls, to trips to see the best squash players in the world play in tournaments such as the National Squash Championships or the British Open (staged nearby in Manchester), to more adventurous persuits such as go-karting and paint-balling.

On match nights, we put strong emphasis on providing the visiting teams with great hospitality.

The Club's friendly atmosphere is generated by a mix of members from a wide variety of backgrounds and of different ages. Joining the leagues and coming along on club nights provides every opportunity for meeting new people and socialising in the bar afterwards.


There is also a large function room and a hospitality suites which can be hired. The main function room has a capacity of 150 people or 100 when seated. It is ideal for 18th or 21st Birthday parties. It has a fully licenced bar and catering is available. For more intimate event such as wakes etc the smaller President and 1860 Suites are available.
