Conditions of Entry

1.1 All requests to enter the Tournament must be made by submitting the completed Tournament Entry Form signed by the player and parent/guardian together with the entry fee of £17 by the closing date.
Late entries will not be accepted. Closing date for entries is Monday 28 April 2014 at 2pm.

1.2 Competitors must be under the specified age on the last day of the tournament.

1.3 Seeding will be carried out by England Squash & Racketball. The draws will be made using the ‘random draw method’.

1.4 All players must wear clothing suitable for squash.

1.5 It is an England Squash & Racketball requirement that all junior players wear eye protection on court.

1.6 Competitors must report to the tournament desk 30 minutes before their match time. Players not available 10 minutes after the match start time will be scratched. It is the organiser’s desire to start the games as soon as courts become available to enable an early finish in the evening.
Players’ cooperation would be appreciated by being ready to go on court as soon as they become available.

1.7 Parents/guardians are requested not to interfere or coach during matches. Complaints should be addressed formally to the Tournament desk.

1.8 Draw and playing times will be emailed to players in the week preceding the tournament. The draw will also be posted on this web page.

1.9 Current England Squash & Racketball disciplinary procedures will be enforced for this Tournament. Withdrawal from the tournament must be notified to the organiser as soon as possible by telephone with a valid reason. Your reason for withdrawal at any stage of the Tournament should then be confirmed in writing to England Squash & Racketball within 7 days and, in the event of illness or injury, should be accompanied by a letter of explanation (from parent or coach) or medical certificate.

1.10 Competitors may not enter more than one age group.

1.11 Players will be required to mark matches. In particular winners mark the next game on the same court. Failure to do so could lead to disqualification.

1.12 Every entrant is guaranteed AT LEAST 3 GAMES dependent on entries received. The aim of the Tournament will be to maximise the number of games played by each player.

1.13 The organisers, sponsors or the Club are not under any liability whatsoever in respect of personal injury, loss or damage that may be sustained during the Tournament.

1.14 The England Squash & Racketball Code of Conduct shall apply.

1.15 In case of player withdrawal from the Tournament after the closing date, NO REFUNDS will be made.

1.16 All matches will be PAR to 11 and best of 5 games.

1.17 All finalists will be expected to attend the presentations following the finals.

1.18 An entry fee of £17.00 is payable by each competitor.
